What does home mean to you?
Home is a place where I feel at peace. I have to be quite social at work, which is fun: and you meet a lot of new people because of it. But at the end of the day I love being home. Especially because it's a quiet place and try not to have a lot of stuff around me and create a relaxing environment.
Why do you love books and what have you read recently?
Lately I have read a lot of books written by women, not necessarily on purpose, but also because I can recognise myself in these stories. I also love learning new things. Some books (and writers) just makes me want to read even more books! I have this feeling when reading books from Olivia Laing and also books from Mary Ruefle. I just love reading books that somehow make you feel smarter afterwards and you learn a lot from it.
What's a memory you have of reading books when you were younger?
I read a lot of books when I was younger but somehow I stopped reading books for a while and I almost didn't read anything at all during this period. The last five years I've picked it up again and I'm so glad I did! It gives me so much joy and peace knowing I can read these books again.
